The National Association of Manufacturers is beefing up its legal team.
The trade association today announced the hire of Lindsey de la Torre as executive director of the Manufacturers’ Accountability Project (MAP) and special counsel to the Manufacturers’ Center for Legal Action (MCLA).
Spurred by lawsuits against energy companies, the group launched MAP last year to fight what it calls “activist litigation” (E&E News PM, Nov. 13, 2017).
